Tioman

We went for our first trip using Berjaya Air to Tioman Island from 14 – 16 October 2005. This was the quickest trip I have booked because the booking was made within two weeks before departure. It was a really quick decision on my part to go holiday. I was deciding either Tioman Island or Redang Island under Berjaya Air. At the end, we chose Tioman because it was the cheapest. The package for flight and accommodation was RM480 per person including taxes. Whereas the Redang package came up to RM600 per person for the same deal. But seeing the increase nowadays, maybe I should have taken Redang instead. Nevertheless, no regret.

Tioman is a great place. We were so excited. It was our first time boarding Berjaya plane which is even smaller than Air Asia’s. It was also our first time doing snorkelling around Renggis Island which is very near to Berjaya Resort at Tioman. It was so cool. All those beautiful fishes. Unfortunately at that time, we didn’t have the marine pack for our camera or else I’m sure we will have great photos. However, it was a great trip nonetheless. Always in our memory…
