I guess everyone knows that Thailand is famous with transvestites or more commonly known as ‘ladyboys’. One of the highlights of our Phuket trip was to see one of such show. The price is reasonable at THB700 per person – VIP seat. Hehe! There are 3 show times per day and we watched the last show of the day at 9:30 p.m. on the second day we arrived. Tickets were bought through the same travel agent who arranged for our Phuket City tour. Transport pickup from hotel to the show and back was included.

I really think the show was worthy of our time and money. They are really talented ‘ladyboys’ who really can dance and put on good show (though they cannot sing with nice voice but only mimic). Some really look so pretty or even prettier than us the real women, make us so envy of their long legs, smooth and white skin.

One of my travel mates likes to say “Let’s look at them and then look at ourselves, one should wonder who is more woman…” Sigh!

Sorry for the blur photo because it’s very hard to capture their photo ala paparazzi . They would stand outside in a line after the show’s over for everyone who wish to take photo with them. Beware that taking photo WITH them cost THB100 per ladyboy.

If you haven’t seen such show before, I  truly recommend you to see one. Seeing their multiple settings on the stage was really impressive. I’m sure you will enjoy the show of good songs, dances and comedy acts. For me, I just enjoy watching pretty ladies, doesn’t matter real or not. Hehe!
