Or rather my darling is sweet.
One night when we were preparing to sleep, he was lying on the bed and look at me, smiling lovingly. He said to me: “After we come back from Bali, I want to buy you the kitchen hood, so that you can cook as you like.” The way he said it really melt my heart. It’s something that I cannot describe just with words here.
You see, my kitchen hood has been faulty since we moved in. It was left behind by the ex-owner. It’s so oily and dirty that I dare not touch it. Without the hood, I cannot cook whatever I like. Just imagine frying, it will be havoc. The smoke will just travel the whole dining and living room. Imagine my curtains. All smell of oil. Yucks! So, I have avoided frying at all cost all these times. Even saute takes a lot of effort to avoid the smoke. It’s damn difficult to cook with an open kitchen, you see. Ours is a small apartment, there’s no way for the oil and smoke to run away. Sigh!
Since day one, my darling has said he will buy me the new kitchen hood. We even have the measurement to replace the existing. However, it’s me who delay the process. Yes, me, me, me. I’m the procrastinator as I have said so many times. I asked him to wait. I gave thousands of reasons not to spend money. I know he loves me very much, hence he insists on buying me a new kitchen hood. Isn’t my darling so sweet? Hehehe!

Thanks Pinky. I would have use the whole box of tissue if I was not that sleepy that time. Haha! I’m not romantic as I have hoped for. Hehe! However, I did have a sweet dream that night.
